Our first batch yielded approximately 73.0% punicic acid, a rare omega-5 fatty acid in our pomegranate seed oil.
The extract also contains naturally occurring tocopherols, phytosterols, and other lipid-soluble compounds that have been studied for their role in supporting skin barrier function and protecting against oxidative stress.
With approximately 89.0% polyunsaturated fatty acids and a low peroxide value of 1.3 meq O₂/kg at the time of testing, this extract offers a distinctive fatty acid profile that makes it particularly valuable in formulations designed to support skin comfort and resilience.
