We source our marula oil from wild-harvested African marula fruit, Sclerocarya birrea, which grows on the African savanna. Its seeds are naturally rich in nourishing oils and proteins.

Across southern Africa, local communities open the hard marula nuts by hand using traditional techniques. This process requires skill, as the shells are tough and the kernels must remain intact.

This oil deeply nourishes the skin, helps reduce transepidermal water loss, and improves moisture retention.

Our marula oil is rich in oleic acid, with supportive levels of palmitic and linoleic acids, which contribute to its nourishing feel, moisture-supporting properties, and notable stability.
