Our Ente plum, the first signature ingredient of Phaedra Botanicals, releases an unforgettable aroma of almonds and fresh marzipan when you open the jar. We source it with care in southwestern France, where French connoisseurs cultivate the trees in the geographically protected region of Lot-et-Garonne (Agen) using centuries-long expertise.
We harvest only fully ripe fruit. Before collection, our experts use the Brix degree to confirm maturity, which helps ensure the highest nutrient content in our cold-pressed oil. We measure these nutrients in every fresh batch to ensure effectiveness.
Rich in: antioxidants; naturally occurring full-spectrum vitamin E; fatty acids; polyphenols; and antiaging compounds such as the bioflavonoid rutin.
Certification: AB Agriculture Biologique (Institut de Recherche de l’Agriculture Biologique).

Our French connoisseurs slowly infuse whole ginkgo biloba plants in a hydro-glycerin solution at room temperature, without using ethanol or other solvents. After prolonged maceration, we carefully filter the infusion.
Ginkgo biloba offers significant antiaging effects for the skin and forms an essential part of our antiaging complex.
Rich in: flavonoids, terpene trilactones, proanthocyanidins, organic acids, and other compounds. Flavonoids contribute to the extract’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, while terpene trilactones improve blood microcirculation and have neuroprotective effects.

GLYCERIN
Utilized chiefly in our prolonged botanical macerations in France
Glycerin is an effective vegetable-derived moisturizer and an essential part of our prolonged macerations of French organic extracts and botanicals. It replaces rushed extraction methods that rely on ethanol. We do not speed the process; we leave the plant in a glycerin-rich solution without using solvents.
Our glycerin is vegetable-derived, free from synthetics, and petroleum-free.

French connoisseurs slowly infuse our grape extract from the leaves of organic French red grapevine. We carry out the infusion in a hydro-glycerin solution at room temperature, without using ethanol or solvents.
Rich in: plant actives such as phenolic compounds, including flavonoids—among the most potent phytonutrients. It contains organic phenolic acids, and grapevine is among the richest botanical sources of polyphenols.

We selected our organic green tea water for its broad-spectrum benefits for the skin. It calms irritation and redness while reducing swelling, and it helps calm the skin after sunburn.
We slowly steam-distill our green tea water without using ethanol or other solvents.
Rich in: flavonol glycosides (kaempferol, myricetin, and quercetin), catechins (flavanols), and phenolic compounds such as gallic acid (GA), p-coumaric acid, and caffeic acid. Our organic jojoba oil provides the foundation for our Provitamin A Complex. It acts against transepidermal water loss, increases moisture retention, and leaves skin nourished and moisturized. The jojoba tree takes 10 years to reach harvest, and it can then bear fruit for another 100 years.
We obtain our jojoba oil by cold-pressing fresh organic jojoba seeds, followed by filtration. Jojoba comprises almost 98% pure waxes (mainly wax esters, with few fatty acids), plus sterols and vitamins, with few triglyceride esters. For this reason, it is known as a liquid wax rather than an oil.
It acts against acne and provides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity.
Rich in: vitamin D and its derivatives, vitamin E (α, γ, and δ tocopherol), and other fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin A.
