About Phaedra Botanicals
Founded in 2019 by our founder, Lucie, Phaedra Botanicals was born from a desire to create skincare defined by uncompromising formulation standards.
While working in Greece as a Czech maritime archaeologist and on her doctoral dissertation, Lucie began envisioning skincare shaped by sensorial refinement and greater accountability. This included selected products tested for environmental contaminants such as heavy metals, which often remain unchecked in organic skincare.
That vision soon grew into a distinctive fresh skincare philosophy for Phaedra Botanicals clients: formulas never warehoused, never left to age on shelves, and created only after order to arrive at their freshest, reducing unnecessary waste while preserving the integrity of these precious compounds.
From this commitment, our most exclusive line, the Fresh Series, was born. In the same spirit, freeze-dried fruits were introduced into select Fresh Series formulations as a more botanical alternative to widely used synthetic vitamins.
Lucie develops Phaedra Botanicals with friends, family, and environmentally responsible partners across Europe.
We maintain long-standing relationships with suppliers and independent laboratories in Estonia, Greece, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and other trusted locations.
