In the orchards of southern France, trees are systematically spaced to ensure uniform sunlight exposure and airflow. These controlled conditions promote even fruit ripening and optimal nutrient development. The region’s growers combine generations of agricultural expertise with modern cultivation methods to maintain the highest biochemical quality of the plums used for Ex Prūnīs.
Only fully ripe Ente plums are selected, harvested by experienced specialists who determine the ideal picking time using Brix degree measurements—a precise indicator of natural sugar concentration and maturity. Following harvest, the fruit undergoes cold-press extraction, a process that preserves the oil’s molecular stability and maximizes its concentration of active compounds. The result is Ex Prūnīs, an oil defined by its purity, antioxidant potency, and delicate natural aroma.
Quality Control
After pressing, Ex Prūnīs oil is subjected to rigorous quality control.
